uTrackWeb has established guidelines to benefit all involved
The process of creating a website is the same as many other collaborative processes - it always makes things simpler if everyone knows what to expect. Therefore we've decided to outline the expectations (both ours and the client's). This way you get to see how things will go when you work with uTrackWeb.
One Decision Maker: One person from the client organization will be appointed to liase with uTrackWeb, and this person will make and agree all decisions relating to the website (more details).
Design Sign-off: Once we have spoken to the client about their design ideas and requirements, we create a draft website design. This is presented to the client for approval, and the client may ask for any changes to the draft. Upon completion of the changes, we re-present the updated draft design. Minor changes may be requested at this point. Once the minor updates are done, the design is considered complete. The client signs-off on the design, and from this point on no more alterations to the design may be made. If the client requires further design changes, they will incur an additional fee.
Project Timeline: To avoid disruption (and associated costs) we establish strict timelines for website projects. For the benefit of everyone involved, there are clear incentives to adhere to the timelines (more details).
FTP Details: In order to access the location where the website is to be stored (usually on a professionally hosted server) we will need the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) details. If you have any questions about this, our dedicated staff will be happy to help.
Google Analytics: Once we have received the FTP details, we can start the process of background analysis (on topics such as: customer base, market, location-based web access). This information will be gathered for about 4 weeks, and will help us to provide a highly customer-targeted website for you. This means that when a potential client of yours searches online for your services, they will find them immediately.
